Since the passing of a previous cat named Mini, Flossy was adopted at 7 years old from the cat’s protection, after her own owner had also passed away.

She is very playful and loves her food. Although she can be feisty, she’s mostly just fussy. She even sussed out exactly where her napping spot was going to be. Right where the heating pipes run under our bathroom floorboards!

Bella is also known as the sock thief in our house. Before you know it, she’s off with any socks left around the house and she thrives off the chase to get them back.

Although Bella has been with us for quite a while, she still can’t contain her excitement when it comes to meeting new people. However don’t be fooled by her innocent face, as soon as there’s a knock at the door she releases her inner Rottweiler!

Koda is the boss of our house, and she knows it! She’s been a part of the family since she was only 6 weeks old and has always checked all our bedrooms before bedtime to make sure we’re all where we’re supposed to be.

But her real obsession is with her toy ball, in her mind she’s still a puppy and once that ball is thrown, there’s no stopping her! She even gets the ball over the fence so our neighbour will throw it back.

Orion is a one year old moggie named after the cat from Men in Black. He has big beautiful eyes and spotted markings on his back which is unusual for a tabby.

Although Orion started out as a frightened 8 week old rescue kitten, he now enjoys playing with his siblings Baby and Salem as well as being the most affectionate lap cat.

Peaches, although 9 years old now, hasn’t lost any of her excitement and enjoys regularly chasing her tail and giving the postman a hard time… She’d give him lots of kisses if she could!

Although small, her Rottweiler brother Roscoe is always on hand, together they enjoy long walks and if there’s a stream nearby, you’ll find them in it!

Moretti had a hard start in life, after being born as part of a homeless litter full of kittens on a farm. Although she was not used to human interaction, Moretti has settled into our home amazingly.

Her newest habit includes; meowing constantly until the kitchen tap is turned on, for her simply to stare closely and watch the water!

Going by the full name Lady Nero Puppington, Nero was adopted at 8 weeks old during the lockdown and she’s been a handful since day one!

We’ve spent most of the time training her and she’ll now sit by my side all day as I work from home however she does still enjoy stealing any food she can sniff out.

Mr Snuggles has always lived up to his name, even when he was a kitten, because of course he’s very snuggly. His shorter coat means it’s much easier to give him a brush and see his grumpy face too.

Mr Snuggles is a very lively 1-year-old. He is very often overcome by the temptation to start knocking things off worktops and windowsills. He rules our house and demands tummy rubs daily.

Archie is really smart and in the process of learning many new tricks, these include some special party tricks where he can do the moonwalk and give high fives!

He’s an energetic character, he loves to play with his ball and can’t say no to a game of fetch. However, when calmness finally overtakes, he just loves his chest scratches and falling asleep.

Bruce the Miniature Schnauzer, is only 7 months old and has already made a lasting impression on our family. He knows when anyone in the house is feeling a bit low and brings so much joy.

Bruce is only happy when he’s playing with his partner in crime Boo, our 18 month old feline. Boo came from a larger litter and has become Bruce’s protector, and where he goes, she goes, walks and all!

Gary, our ginger moggie, has found Archie’s mischievous behaviour quite enjoyable and has now joined in! He bops anyone on the head when they walk up the stairs.

Archie is our newest addition to the family, he’s a miniature dachshund and only 13 weeks old. He hasn’t quite figured out how small he is and will steal everything even if it’s 10 times bigger than him.

Since Daisy waa adopted, she has enjoyed plenty of fun-filled walks exploring North Yorkshire and the surrounding Yorkshire Dales.

Daisy is showing no signs of slowing down as she gets older and loves anyone who gives her some attention, she’s especially keen on making friends with Dachshunds and getting so excited her teeth chatter.
